Tri-metal bearings are typically designed with a thin wall and consist of three main layers: a steel backing shell, a layer of bearing alloy made of high-leaded tin bronze (High Leaded Tin Bronze), and a very thin overlay of babbitt.

Advantages of Tri-Metal Bearings:

  • High fatigue strength
  • Ability to withstand high applied loads
  • High operating temperature
  • Low ambient temperature suitability (for aluminum bearings)

Paanir Company, utilizing centrifugal casting technology and a unique electro plating line specialized for these types of bearings, has the capability to manufacture parts with diameters up to 600 millimeters.
